Dolphins are portrayed as inspirational creatures because of their joy and compassion. They're very intelligent and social mammals. We could learn a lot from dolphins as they often seek to communicate and to connect with their surroundings.
The painting 'Dolphin' is about connection. The paints swirl around, combining all the elements of color within the sea during dusk. The curvaceous paint strokes are dolphins gracefully swimming through an endless wave, preparing for their evening journey.
My intention for this painting was for it to reveal an antidote--a therapeutic mass of blended shades of violet for those who lack connection and spiritual meaning.
